Vedanta Profit Soars 61% on Record Output

Vedanta has reported a substantial 61% increase in its consolidated net profit for the third quarter of FY26, reaching Rs 5,710 crore.
This impressive profit growth was accompanied by a significant 37% rise in revenue, which stood at Rs 23,369 crore for the quarter.
The company's zinc, lead, and silver operations contributed Rs 10,608 crore in revenue, achieving a record metal production of 270 kilotons.
Vedanta's aluminium business also saw strong performance, with revenue at Rs 16,866 crore and quarterly alumina production reaching 794 kilotons.
Executive Director Arun Misra highlighted these results as evidence of strong operational momentum and readiness to unlock long-term value.
