UP Govt to Host Job Fairs in March

In a significant move to boost youth employment, the Uttar Pradesh government will host a series of employment fairs throughout March. These events are designed to foster self-reliance by connecting young individuals with skill-based job opportunities.
The Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission is spearheading this initiative. Employment fairs are scheduled to occur in Lucknow on March 18, followed by Jhansi on March 24, and concluding in Varanasi on March 25. These gatherings will serve as a crucial platform for private sector companies to engage with and recruit trained and eligible youth from the region.
To ensure the smooth and effective execution of these fairs, the state government has appointed dedicated nodal officers in the relevant administrative divisions. Additionally, district program management units have been instructed to collaborate closely with the district administration to facilitate the successful organization of these vital employment drives.
