UP Exports Surge: Electronics & IT Hit ₹1.27 Trillion

Uttar Pradesh has achieved a significant milestone in its export sector, with electronics and IT products and services valued at ₹1.27 trillion in the fiscal year 2024-25. This impressive figure highlights a notable increase in high-value exports from the region.
The electronics sector, in particular, has witnessed an extraordinary expansion. Shipments have jumped more than eleven times from ₹3,862 crore in FY17 to ₹45,000 crore in FY25. Concurrently, IT exports have also seen a healthy rise, increasing from ₹55,711 crore in FY17 to ₹82,000 crore in the latest fiscal year.
Further underscoring this growth, approximately 67 investment proposals totaling ₹15,477 crore have been received under the UP Electronics Manufacturing Policy 2020. These proposals are expected to generate around 150,000 job opportunities, signalling a strong commitment to expanding the manufacturing and IT landscape in Uttar Pradesh.
