The Uttar Pradesh cabinet, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has officially approved the Rules-2025 for the Uttar Pradesh Global Capability Center (GCC) Policy-2024. This strategic decision is poised to enhance the state's appeal for global investments and drive substantial growth in high-end services and large-scale employment opportunities, as highlighted by the UP Information Department.
The approved regulations designate "Invest UP" as the primary nodal agency responsible for overseeing the policy's effective implementation. These rules, effective from the promulgation of the GCC Policy-2024, aim to streamline operations for GCC entities performing functions like IT, R&D, finance, and knowledge services.
To foster investment, the state will offer attractive financial incentives such as land and capital subsidies, stamp duty exemptions, interest subsidies, and support for payroll and talent development. Additionally, GCC enterprises will receive access to technical support, regulatory assistance, and expedited processing for approvals and incentive disbursements.
