Tradex Kerala 2026, an international buyer-seller meet, commenced on Tuesday at Hotel Le Meridien, aiming to expand global market access for the State's Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The event, organized by the State Industries Department, is expected to see participation from buyers representing 20 foreign countries. Over 400 MSME entrepreneurs will be present to display a wide array of products.
This initiative facilitates direct engagement between Kerala's unique agricultural products, spices, tea, coffee, home furnishings, coir, handicrafts, textiles, rubber, and PVC items, and international markets. The program, part of the Kerala Brand (Nanma) initiative, also emphasizes opportunities for women entrepreneurs to connect with foreign traders.
Guidance on crucial export aspects like business-to-business interactions, branding, packaging, and documentation will be provided by technical service providers. This marks a significant step in opening global avenues for small entrepreneurs.
