Tequila Ocho has launched a highly limited añejo expression, a special collaboration with the renowned French Cognac house Ferrand. This unique spirit highlights the concept of terroir by using agaves from a specific estate, Rancho Las Raices.
The añejo was aged for a full year in French oak barrels that had previously matured Ferrand Cognac. Alexandre Gabriel, owner of Ferrand, also produces other spirits like Planteray Rum and Citadelle Gin.
This partnership builds on previous collaborations between Tequila Ocho and Ferrand, dating back to 2019. The new release is bottled at 88.8 proof and is available in very limited quantities, with a suggested retail price of $125.
