Industrial conglomerate Rashmi Group has committed an investment of Rs 12,500 crore to Telangana, a move anticipated to create 12,000 direct and indirect jobs. The announcement was made following a meeting between the group's representatives and the Telangana delegation during the World Economic Forum annual meeting. Rashmi Group, known globally for its ductile iron pipes, expressed interest in energy-efficient steel-making and circular economy initiatives.
Further bolstering the state's industrial landscape, AB InBev, the world's largest brewer, will expand its existing manufacturing facilities in Telangana. This expansion was confirmed during a meeting between Telangana's Chief Minister and AB InBev officials on the sidelines of the WEF. These significant investments align with Telangana's vision for economic growth and capacity building, aiming to transform the state into a USD 3 trillion economy by 2047.
