Tata Power Solaroof has installed a significant 1 GWp of rooftop solar capacity within the first nine months of FY26, marking a substantial leap in renewable energy adoption. This achievement represents a 345% year-on-year growth, with over 1.7 lakh new customers joining since April 2025. The company's cumulative installed capacity now exceeds 4 GWp, with a total customer base surpassing 3 lakh.
The 'Ghar Ghar Solar' campaign is effectively promoting rooftop solar solutions across India's residential and commercial and industrial (C&I) segments. During the December quarter of FY26 alone, Tata Power Solaroof recorded 58,476 installations, showcasing a 242% year-on-year increase. This sustained growth highlights the increasing demand for sustainable energy solutions.
Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra have emerged as frontrunners in rooftop solar installations. Uttar Pradesh completed 30,857 installations totalling 128.13 MWp, while Maharashtra achieved 21,044 installations with a capacity of 126.33 MWp.
