Jacksonville Welcomes Trendy Sweetgreen Eatery

Sweetgreen, a popular farm-to-table restaurant chain, is expanding its presence by opening its inaugural Northeast Florida location in Jacksonville. The new eatery is set to debut on September 15 at 4624 Town Crossing Drive, No. 113, within the St. Johns Town Center. This opening marks a significant expansion for the brand, which currently operates 281 restaurants across 27 states, including 12 locations in Florida.

The restaurant will feature Sweetgreen's signature menu, offering a variety of chef-crafted salads and warm grain bowls. Popular items include the Autumn Harvest Bowl, Caramel Garlic Steak Plate, and Maple Glazed Salmon Plate, all prepared with antibiotic-free ingredients. The 2,560-square-foot space, formerly occupied by Noodles & Company, has undergone an estimated $700,000 renovation and is licensed for up to 149 seats.

Grand opening festivities are planned for September 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., promising special treats and engaging activities for attendees. In a commitment to community support, Sweetgreen will donate a meal to the Clara White Mission for every purchase made on opening day, aiming to combat food insecurity in Jacksonville.
