Suzlon Energy Profit Soars 15% YoY in Q3

Suzlon Energy reported a notable year-on-year increase in its consolidated profit for the December quarter, reaching Rs 445 crore. This represents a 15% rise from the Rs 386 crore earned in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
The company's operational revenue also demonstrated strong growth, climbing 42% year-on-year to Rs 4,228 crore. This surge in revenue was recorded against Rs 2,969 crore in the prior year's comparable quarter.
However, when compared sequentially, Suzlon's financial results showed a downturn. The profit after tax for the quarter fell by 65% from Rs 1,279 crore in the July-September period. Despite this sequential profit dip, the company's top line saw a 9% increase to Rs 4,228 crore from Rs 3,866 crore in the prior quarter.
