Medical device manufacturer Stryker has reported steady progress toward regaining full operational capacity after a significant cyberattack. The attack, which began on March 11, caused widespread disruption to the company's business, notably impacting order processing, manufacturing, and shipment capabilities.
Electronic ordering systems for customers have since been restored, and Stryker is actively working to reconcile orders, manufacture products, and ensure timely delivery to its global customer base. The company, which employs 56,000 individuals across 61 countries, is collaborating with external cybersecurity specialists and relevant authorities.
The cyber incident affected electronic devices running Microsoft's Windows operating system that could connect to Stryker's computer platforms.
