£1.5m Fund to Revitalize Stoke-on-Trent Neighborhoods

Stoke-on-Trent is launching the Pride in Place Impact Fund, investing £1.5 million to improve local neighborhoods and strengthen community bonds. This initiative, spearheaded by Stoke-on-Trent City Council, will support physical improvements such as renovating community buildings, enhancing parks and playgrounds, and beautifying public spaces with art and amenities.
Residents, community organizations, charities, and local businesses are invited to submit project nominations by March 1st. A select panel comprising community representatives, MPs, and councillors will determine the allocation of funds. Council leader Jane Ashworth stated the funding will yield rapid, visible enhancements, boosting local pride and laying groundwork for future investment.
