Stellantis Surges With 10% Global Shipment Boost
13 Jul
Summary
- Global shipments increased by 10% to nearly 1.6 million units.
- North America saw a 38% surge in shipments, boosting overall growth.
- Enlarged Europe shipments rose 5%, with budget models showing strong demand.

Stellantis announced preliminary second-quarter vehicle shipments that climbed 10% year-over-year, totaling close to 1.6 million units. This positive trend was largely fueled by a substantial 38% increase in shipments within North America, the company's key market. This surge was bolstered by the introduction of new and updated models across its brands.
The Enlarged Europe region, another significant market for Stellantis, experienced a 5% rise in shipments. This growth benefited from increased overall industry volumes and strong demand for budget-friendly vehicles such as the Citroen C3 and Fiat Panda.
However, the positive performance was partially tempered by reduced volumes in the Middle East and Africa, attributed to regional conflict, and a weaker market in South America, specifically impacted by Argentina's economic performance. Stellantis is scheduled to release its full second-quarter financial results on July 30.
