Summary
- SpiceJet will operate seven special flights from Fujairah to India on March 15-16.
- Limited flight operations are allowed from UAE to India following civil aviation directives.
- Middle East conflict caused significant disruptions and cancellations for other airlines.

SpiceJet has announced plans to operate seven special flights from Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, to India between March 15 and March 16. This initiative is part of a broader directive from UAE Civil Aviation authorities, which permits limited flight operations connecting certain UAE airports to India.
On March 15, the airline scheduled two flights from Fujairah to Delhi, one to Mumbai, and a special service from Dubai to Pune. An additional four special flights are planned from Fujairah and one from Dubai to India for March 16.
These operations occur amidst significant travel disruptions experienced by other carriers, including Air India and IndiGo, due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia. Dubai International Airport and other major routes faced cancellations and delays.
Flights will operate contingent upon slot availability and prevailing conditions at the time of departure. Passengers affected by cancellations can rebook without additional charges or request a full refund. IndiGo also cited airspace restrictions and evolving regional situations for its flight adjustments.
