The highly anticipated debut of SpaceX on the Nasdaq, coupled with reports suggesting a nearing peace agreement between the U.S. and Iran, propelled market optimism. This potential U.S.-Iran accord, according to Iranian state media, could lead to Washington lifting oil sanctions in exchange for Tehran reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Sources familiar with the plans indicated a potential signing as early as Sunday in Switzerland.

The market's positive sentiment was further boosted by the record-breaking initial public offering of SpaceX. The rocket company priced its shares at $135 each, aiming to raise $75 billion, a figure that significantly eclipses the previous record held by Alibaba's $22 billion offering in 2014. SpaceX will trade under the ticker symbol SPCX, with an initial valuation of $1.77 trillion. The company's revenue streams are primarily driven by its satellite internet services, complemented by an early-stage artificial intelligence operation.
