In response to these departures, Keith Le Goy, chairman of Sony Pictures TV, announced that Jason Spivak and Paul Littmann have been appointed as the new Presidents of Distribution & Networks. Both will report directly to Le Goy and are expected to leverage their extensive experience to drive the business forward.
Further changes include Mark Young taking on an expanded role as head of international, now overseeing Latin America and Asia-Pacific in addition to his existing responsibilities in EMEA. Monica Veiga will lead North America distribution. The studio is also strategically increasing its focus on growth areas such as YouTube, FAST channels, and other digital platforms, aiming to maximize content value and reach.
Wald's extensive career at Sony spanned global roles, including launching AXN Asia and SET India, and leading distribution across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Bramnick was instrumental in shaping the North American business, consistently anticipating market trends and expanding content distribution across various platforms.
