30 May
Summary
- Net profit decreased by 25.20% to Rs 5.67 crore in March 2026 quarter.
- Sales experienced a significant rise of 43.92% to Rs 81.50 crore.
- Full-year net profit increased by 41.92% to Rs 22.04 crore.

For the quarter ending March 2026, Sobhagya Mercantile witnessed a notable 43.92% surge in sales, reaching Rs 81.50 crore compared to Rs 56.63 crore in the previous year. However, this sales growth did not translate into increased profitability, as net profit saw a 25.20% decrease, falling to Rs 5.67 crore from Rs 7.58 crore in the same period.
Looking at the full fiscal year ended March 2026, Sobhagya Mercantile presented a more optimistic financial picture. Net profit for the year increased by 41.92% to Rs 22.04 crore, a significant improvement from Rs 15.53 crore in the prior year. Correspondingly, sales for the full year rose by 47.83% to Rs 232.50 crore, up from Rs 157.28 crore.
The company's operating profit margin (OPM) percentage for the March 2026 quarter stood at 10.93%, a decrease from 14.60% in the previous year's quarter. This contraction in margins contributed to the lower net profit despite higher sales.
