Boutique Firm Slush Management Inks Brand Deal with companyX
8 Oct
Summary
- Slush Management partners with companyX to expand brand opportunities for artists
- companyX founded by Mara Frankel to connect brands with emerging artists
- Slush clients have attracted interest from gaming, tech, and fashion brands

In October 2025, Slush Management, the boutique artist-management firm behind acts like Porter Robinson, Jai Wolf, and EDEN, has announced a strategic partnership with companyX, a New York- and London-based brand-partnerships and strategy agency.
The partnership is designed to expand brand opportunities for Slush's roster of artists. companyX was founded in 2022 by Mara Frankel, who previously led brand partnerships at Atlantic Records. The agency aims to bridge the gap between brands seeking authentic voices and artists ready to build meaningful campaigns beyond one-off sponsorships.
Slush's co-founder Aaron Greene explains that the firm has long attracted interest from forward-thinking brands, but managing those relationships internally has been a challenge. With companyX's expertise, Slush can now scale these opportunities and find new ones they wouldn't have the bandwidth to pursue on their own.
For Slush's other co-founder, Neal O'Connor, the partnership is about deepening the artist-fan connection. "These partnerships aren't just transactions -- they're opportunities to meet fans in other parts of their lives," he says. The deal makes companyX's services available to all Slush clients, with Frankel and her team embedded into the management operation.
As Slush and companyX formalize their collaboration, both sides see it as a model for how boutique management firms can evolve without losing their creative core. "Not a lot of independent management companies offer this kind of service," O'Connor notes. "We're excited to give our artists -- and future clients -- access to more opportunities while keeping the focus on artistry and authenticity."
