Movistar Plus and Skydance have solidified their partnership through a new two-year global agreement, set to run from July 2026 through December 2027. This extension of their strategic alliance is notable as one of Skydance's first major international pacts post-merger with Warners.
The collaboration will introduce a joint label for local original projects, developed by both entities, which are intended to have significant national and international reach. These series are slated for simultaneous premiere on Movistar Plus and HBO Max within Spain.
Further strengthening the alliance, the agreement includes the renewal of several Skydance TV channels on Movistar Plus. Subscribers will continue to access Warner TV, TCM, Discovery, Eurosport 1, and Eurosport 2, alongside Cartoon Network's VOD service. Additionally, Movistar Plus retains access to first-run films and catalogue titles from Warner Bros. Pictures. Non-exclusive rights to the PGA Tour are also part of this extended deal.
