South Eastern Railway has announced special measures to accommodate the large number of devotees expected for this year's Shravani Mela. From July 30 to August 28, 2026, 22 pairs of trains will make temporary two-minute stops at Mahadevshal Railway Station. This initiative is designed to ease travel for pilgrims from Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh heading to Baba Mahadevshal Dham.
The railway division will also provide enhanced passenger facilities at Mahadevshal station during the fair. These include temporary ticket booking counters, improved drinking water and sanitation services, better lighting, and increased security. Personnel from various railway departments will be on duty to assist pilgrims and ensure smooth operations throughout the event.
