Shaily Engineering Plastics has secured a substantial manufacturing and commercial supply agreement totaling approximately ₹423 crore. This four-year contract involves the production of pen injectors for a large, undisclosed domestic pharmaceutical company. The agreement has been confirmed by Shaily Engineering through an exchange filing.
In a recent development, Joe Kam was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer for Shaily's healthcare division, effective March 1, 2026. Kam brings over two decades of international experience in manufacturing and operations from highly regulated industries, including previous senior roles at SHL Medical.
The company also announced plans to establish a new medical devices manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi. This facility is projected to have an investment of AED 130-150 million and an annual capacity of around 75 million pen injectors, with an expected operational start by the fourth quarter of FY28.
