Sai Silks Profit Dips 17% in Q3 Amidst Cost Pressures

Sai Silks (Kalamandir) Limited experienced a challenging third quarter for FY26, with net profit falling by 17.4% to ₹38 crore compared to the previous year. Revenue also saw a decline of 8.3%, settling at ₹411 crore. This performance was impacted by softer margins and moderated demand. EBITDA decreased by 12.1%, and the EBITDA margin narrowed slightly.
Despite the weaker December quarter, the nine-month period ending December 31, 2025, showed a positive trend. Profit for these nine months surged to ₹108.3 crore, up from ₹85.4 crore in the corresponding period last year. Revenue for the nine-month period also grew, reaching ₹1,234.6 crore.
The ethnic apparel retailer, operating brands like Kalamandir and Varamahalakshmi, remains focused on strategic growth. The company is continuing its investment in expanding its store network and enhancing its supply chain infrastructure, utilizing funds raised through its recent IPO.
