RVNL Secures Major NMDC Refurbishment Contract

RVNL has been awarded a substantial contract by a domestic entity for the refurbishment of the permanent way of NMDC sidings and mobile equipment tracks. This extensive project, which also includes maintenance work at Kirandul and Bacheli, is slated for execution over a 36-month period. The company confirmed that the awarding entity is independent of its promoters, ensuring the deal does not constitute a related-party transaction.
This latest award from NMDC further strengthens RVNL's order book, following multiple contracts worth ₹1,978 crore secured from the same client last month. In its third-quarter financial disclosures, RVNL announced a revenue of ₹4,684 crore, marking a 2.6% increase compared to the previous year. However, the company's EBITDA experienced an 8% decrease, leading to a narrowed EBITDA margin of 4.7%. The board also approved an interim dividend of ₹1 per share for its shareholders.
