Risen Energy Delivers 1.2 GW HJT Modules to Huaneng
15 Apr
Summary
- Risen Energy's HJT module orders with China Huaneng now total 1.2 GW.
- Nearly 600MW delivered for large-scale ground-mounted power stations.
- HJT modules feature 740Wp+ power and high conversion efficiency.

Risen Energy announced a major development in its partnership with China Huaneng Group, with total orders for HJT modules reaching 1.2 GW. To date, Risen Energy has successfully delivered close to 600MW of these modules. These are currently deployed in several substantial ground-mounted power stations operated by Huaneng.
This GW-level delivery signifies a new era for HJT technology, demonstrating its acceptance in major power markets. Huaneng, a leading energy group, selected Risen Energy's Hyper-ion series HJT modules for their balance of efficiency enhancement and cost reduction. These modules incorporate innovations like 0BB technology and RisenLink interconnection, minimizing material use and aligning with green manufacturing principles.
The modules achieve a mass-produced power output of 740Wp+ with industry-leading conversion efficiency. Their high bifacial rate and low temperature coefficient ensure stable power generation and minimal degradation in demanding environments, such as Yunnan's high-irradiance, high-temperature climate. This performance directly addresses Huaneng's requirements for high power, high yield, and low degradation.
This successful collaboration underscores efficient project execution and robust product quality. Risen Energy's stable production capacity and professional services have ensured the timely completion and operation of Huaneng's key power stations. This partnership exemplifies the joint efforts of leading PV firms and central state-owned energy groups in advancing the green energy transition.
