Reliance Industries (RIL) has achieved a landmark, becoming the first Indian firm to report an annual revenue exceeding Rs 10 lakh crore. For the full fiscal year 2026, RIL's consolidated net profit saw a substantial 16% increase, reaching Rs 80,775 crore, while net sales climbed 9.6% to Rs 10.57 lakh crore.
In the fourth quarter of FY26, the company's consolidated revenue grew by 12.6% year-over-year to Rs 2.94 lakh crore. However, net profit experienced a double-digit decline compared to the previous year, primarily attributed to elevated feedstock prices stemming from disruptions in global energy markets, reflecting the impact of the West Asia conflict on operations.
Despite these headwinds, RIL's consumer-facing businesses remained robust. Reliance Retail Ventures reported an 11% year-over-year revenue growth. Meanwhile, Mukesh Ambani expressed optimism regarding the upcoming listing of Jio Platforms, noting its steady progress towards a "defining milestone" in its journey and its continued contribution to India's digital future.
