This ambitious project will be situated at the company's Thai Unit in Alibag, Maharashtra. The new facility is designed to have a capacity of 300 tonnes per day.
The primary objective behind this substantial investment is to significantly enhance RCF's backward integration capabilities. This strategic move aims to secure and streamline the supply chain for essential raw materials. The total project cost is estimated at Rs 865.25 crore, with funding expected to come from a combination of debt and equity financing.
RCF, recognized as one of India's foremost fertilizer manufacturers, is undertaking this expansion to solidify its market leadership. The board of directors has already granted in-principle approval for this critical development. The establishment of the phosphoric acid plant represents a key step in the company's ongoing growth strategy and operational enhancement.
