Rallis India Slashes Losses by 53% on Strong Revenue Growth

Rallis India Limited reported a notable improvement in its financial performance for the March quarter of FY26, with losses shrinking to ₹15 crore, a significant 53% reduction from the ₹32 crore loss in the same period last year. This enhanced profitability was driven by a 6% increase in revenues, which climbed to ₹456 crore from ₹430 crore in Q4FY25. The growth was primarily attributed to increased volumes in the crop care and seeds businesses, aided by effective pricing strategies.

For the full fiscal year FY26, Rallis India demonstrated strong momentum, achieving a 47% surge in net profit to ₹184 crore, compared to ₹125 crore in the previous year. Annual revenues also saw a healthy 9% uplift, reaching ₹2897 crore from ₹2663 crore. The company's Crop Care business expanded by 8%, with domestic formulations growing 5% and a significant 17% rise in B2B exports and Custom Synthesis Manufacturing. The Seeds business also performed commendably, growing by 15% despite market challenges.

Despite mixed demand conditions and lower pest pressure impacting some segments during Q4FY26, Rallis India managed moderate growth through volume expansion and stable pricing. The company's management highlighted a continued focus on strengthening the business via execution, portfolio expansion, and customer engagement. Rallis India also bolstered its Crop Protection offerings by launching two new insecticide products, Fiplam and Alstor, aiming for sustainable growth through innovation and enhanced digital capabilities.
