RailTel Secures ₹64 Crore ICT Network Project

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd announced on December 4, 2025, that it has secured a substantial work order from the Central Public Works Department (CPWD). This domestic contract, valued at ₹63.92 crore, involves the comprehensive design and implementation of an information communication technology (ICT) network.
The scope of work for this significant project includes the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the ICT network. Furthermore, RailTel will provide operations and maintenance support for a duration of five years, ensuring the long-term functionality of the implemented systems. The project's execution is scheduled to conclude by May 12, 2031.
This new contract adds to RailTel's recent successes, following a project worth ₹48.78 crore awarded by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority for a Regional Information System. The company's ongoing efforts in expanding its ICT infrastructure underscore its growing role in critical infrastructure development across India.
