Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to disburse the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme on November 19, 2025. The announcement will be made during an event held in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This disbursement ensures eligible farmers will receive a sum of Rs 2,000 directly into their bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
The government has reiterated the mandatory nature of eKYC for all PM Kisan beneficiaries. Farmers have multiple options to complete this crucial step. They can opt for an OTP-based eKYC through the official PM-Kisan portal, or visit a Common Service Centre (CSC) for biometric verification. A convenient face-authentication method is also available via the PM-Kisan mobile application.
Certain farmers may not receive this installment, particularly those who acquired land ownership after February 1, 2019, or families where multiple members are already beneficiaries. The benefits for such cases are temporarily withheld pending physical verification, ensuring the scheme's integrity and reach to genuine agriculturalists.
