Gurgaon-based Phitku has successfully garnered investment from notable entrepreneurs Aman Gupta and Anupam Mittal on Shark Tank India. The company pitched its innovative crystal roll-on deodorant, which it claims is the first of its kind in India. This unique product is formulated to eliminate odor-causing bacteria using purified alum crystal, a natural mineral, instead of masking scents with fragrances.
Phitku's formulation avoids harsh chemicals, synthetic perfumes, and residue, making it suitable for sensitive skin. The startup, co-founded by Sumit Marda, Neha Marda, and Rahul, was inspired by personal challenges with hormonal body odor. They re-engineered alum crystal into a convenient roll-on format.
Since its launch on January 16, 2025, Phitku has reported impressive early success. The company claims to have achieved ₹14 crore in revenue and sold over two lakh units within ten months. A high rate of repeat purchases and an average customer rating of 4.8 underscore the product's efficacy and market appeal.
