- Company aims for 500 hospitals in the network.

PB Health, the healthcare arm of PB Fintech, is forging ahead with its hospital expansion plans, undeterred by potential policy changes affecting its parent insurance business. Chairman Yashish Dahiya emphasized that PB Health operates as a distinct venture, insulated from challenges at Policybazaar.
The company intends to establish approximately 150 new hospitals within five years. This ambitious goal involves building 20-30 new multi-speciality hospitals and expanding through partnerships or franchises. The investment outlay for this expansion is ₹10,000 crore, to be financed through a combination of equity and debt.
PB Health's strategy involves opening 200-bed hospitals, with plans for four by March and an additional six in the following year, followed by accelerated growth. This initiative aims to build a substantial network of 500 hospitals, differentiating itself from other groups that have moved from hospitals to insurance.
