The 1888 Studios complex was recently designated as one of New Jersey's first Film-Lease Partner Facilities, meaning any tenants there will have access to these lucrative tax credits.
This latest development follows Netflix's decision last year to break ground on a 500,000 square foot production facility in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, representing a $1 billion investment. Additionally, Lionsgate has also secured a lease for a 270,000 square foot campus in Newark. With these major studios establishing a foothold in the state, New Jersey is solidifying its reputation as a growing East Coast hub for the entertainment industry.
