Ola Electric has reported a notable upswing in its December 2024 vehicle registrations, totaling 9,020 units according to Vahan data. This performance pushed the company's market share to 9.3% for the month, an increase from 7.2% in November 2024. The company also saw its market share exceed 12% in the latter half of December, reclaiming top-three positions in electric vehicle sales in approximately a dozen Indian states.
The surge in performance is attributed to Ola Electric's "Hyperservice" initiative, which focuses on backlog resolution, workforce capacity, parts availability, and customer self-service. This program has led to a significant improvement in service speed, with 77% of service requests completed on the same day in December 2024. The company also began deliveries of its new S1 Pro+ scooters in November 2025 and received certification for its motorcycle model, marking expanded in-house cell integration.
Chairman and Managing Director Bhavish Aggarwal stated that fixing service fundamentals with speed and discipline was a priority, and the "Hyperservice" program is yielding clear outcomes in customer experience, market share, and bookings. As service metrics stabilize, early indicators suggest an improvement in demand for Ola Electric's products, with further scaling expected in its energy business through Ola Shakti (BESS) deliveries.
