Nvidia CEO Predicts Chip Sales Double

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has forecast a significant surge in the company's chip sales, expecting them to double in the coming year. This projection is attributed to the widespread and increasing demand for artificial intelligence across various sectors and economies globally.

Huang recently attended a summit in Scotland, alongside leaders from major tech companies and researchers, to discuss the critical issue of AI safety. He acknowledged the need for caution with emerging AI technologies, stating that unsafe products should be withheld and further engineered.

Earlier this year, Huang highlighted Nvidia's unique position as a 'Growth Value Stock,' emphasizing the company's expanding AI platform and partnerships. He projected that global AI infrastructure spending could reach between $3 trillion and $4 trillion by 2030.

These insights follow Nvidia's CFO's projection of approximately 70% revenue growth for the fiscal year ending January 2028. Huang also emphasized the financial value of AI computing hardware, noting the rising rental prices for older Nvidia GPUs.
