Summary
- Nutriment Company acquired Polish pet treat distributor Zoo Factory.
- The deal marks TNC's entry into the significant Polish pet food market.
- Zoo Factory's management will remain in place post-acquisition.

The Nutriment Company (TNC), a Sweden-based entity, has significantly expanded its European presence by acquiring Zoo Factory, a prominent Polish distributor specializing in premium pet treats and food. This acquisition represents TNC's strategic entry into the dynamic Polish pet food market, a move CEO Anders Kristiansen described as a major milestone.
The transaction details were not disclosed, but Zoo Factory has been a key player for over 25 years, offering approximately 250 pet-care products under brands like Hilton and Animals, as well as private labels. This acquisition is TNC's tenth purchase this year, following closely after the recent acquisition of Dutch pet treat manufacturer Antos.
Under the terms of the deal, Zoo Factory's current management, including Managing Director Sławomir Musur and Purchasing Director Beata Bonalska, will remain in their positions. TNC plans to leverage Zoo Factory's strong standing in the grocery sector to expand its own product portfolio, starting with supplements, into new sales channels.
