NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has entered into a significant partnership with Nxtra Data Limited. The two entities signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in New Delhi.
The primary objective of this collaboration is to explore and identify business opportunities focused on supplying renewable energy. This energy will be delivered on a round-the-clock basis to power Nxtra's data centers throughout India.
The agreement specifically targets the captive consumption of this green energy. This initiative underscores a commitment to enhancing the sustainability of data center operations by ensuring a consistent supply of renewable power. The MoU was signed by Sarit Maheshwari, CEO of NGEL and NTPC REL, and Ashish Arora, CEO of Nxtra Data Limited.
