Nissan India has unveiled a robust expansion plan, committing to the launch of three new models by 2027. This significant product offensive aims to broaden the company's domestic portfolio to four models within two years. The strategy commences with an updated Magnite, followed by the all-new Gravite compact MPV slated for unveiling in January 2026 and launch in March.
The brand will also introduce the midsize Tekton SUV in February 2026, built on the CMF-B platform and expected to compete with established players in the segment. Design sketches indicate a rugged aesthetic. Following these introductions, a completely new seven-seat SUV is scheduled for release in 2027, promising a distinct design and positioning from the Tekton.
Concurrently, Nissan is enhancing its customer-facing infrastructure. The company plans to increase its dealership network from approximately 150 outlets to 200 by the Tekton's launch, further expanding to 250 by 2027. Workforce growth is also a priority, with sales and service personnel set to increase from 800 to 3,000 by the time the fourth model is available.
