Construction has begun on a new 215-room Hampton Inn by Hilton in Pensacola Beach, Florida, by Innisfree Hotels. This development is slated for completion in 2028 and will be Innisfree's sixth hotel on Pensacola Beach. The beachfront property will feature unique amenities for the area, including the destination's first hotel waterslides, a zero-entry lazy river, and a two-level poolside bar and restaurant.
The hotel will also offer over 4,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, enhanced dining facilities, and direct beach access. This project is projected to create approximately 150 jobs, increasing Innisfree's local workforce to over 825 employees and contributing an estimated $16.6 million in annual tax revenues.
In a separate initiative, Innisfree has also broken ground on the new Hive Arts Academy, designed to provide a permanent base for youth arts programming for students in grades 8-12. This facility is expected to open next summer and will support redevelopment efforts in Pensacola's Eastside Urban Infill and Redevelopment Area.
