The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has introduced a novel policy allowing personal milestones to be celebrated aboard Namo Bharat trains and at its stations. This initiative extends the use of modern, well-designed coaches beyond daily commutes, providing a unique backdrop for events such as birthday parties and pre-wedding photoshoots.
Individuals, event planners, and media companies can now book static or running Namo Bharat coaches, with a mock-up coach at Duhai Depot also offered for static shoots. Pricing begins at Rs 5,000 per hour, including time for setup and removal. The NCRTC assures that all celebrations will be managed to prevent disruption to regular train operations and passenger convenience.
This new policy also encompasses a premises hiring option for film shoots and advertisements. All activities will be conducted under the close supervision of NCRTC staff and security personnel, ensuring safety and adherence to operational guidelines. The stations, strategically located across the Delhi-Meerut corridor, are poised to attract residents seeking distinctive venues for special occasions.
