Namo Bharat trains are demonstrating exceptional punctuality, maintaining a rate of nearly 99% since their launch in 2023. The rapid rail service, connecting Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut, operates daily from 6 am to 10 pm with trains arriving every 15 minutes. Over two crore passengers have utilized this system.
Operational consistency has been maintained despite challenging conditions, including severe winter fog that impacted other modes of transport. This reliability ensures predictable and uninterrupted travel for commuters. Round-the-clock efforts, including overnight maintenance and inspections at the Duhai depot, guarantee train safety and readiness for the next day's service.
The service utilizes advanced technologies, including ETCS Level-2 signaling, to enhance efficiency and safety. A 55-km stretch of the 82-km corridor is currently operational, with plans for improved frequency and reduced travel times once the full route is functional.
