The Nagpur Municipal Corporation's Mahila Udyojika Fair 2026 is currently bustling with activity at the Reshimbagh ground, drawing participation from more than 260 women's self-help groups across the city. Inaugurated on Saturday by MLAs Mohan Mate and Krishna Khopde, the fair presents a vibrant marketplace for a diverse range of products.
Attendees can explore stalls offering food and processed items, grains, spices, handicrafts, jewelry, herbal and organic goods, and various types of clothing. Notable participants include the Matrix Warriors NGO, highlighting Indian-made apparel and health products, and Radha Shri Mahila Bachat Gat, known for its khadi items.
Municipal commissioner Abhijeet Choudhari highlighted the fair's growing success, emphasizing its role in strengthening women-led businesses. He stated that the initiative offers a significant marketing platform, fostering economic independence for women entrepreneurs. The fair is open daily from 5 pm to 10 pm until February 5, with free entry for all visitors.
