Concurrently, Fadnavis performed the groundbreaking ceremony for a modern fish market in Bhandewadi. This Rs21 crore project, funded by central and state governments, aims to provide hygienic fish to citizens. The event underscored Bajeriya's historical importance, referencing its role in the freedom struggle and the formation of revolutionary groups.
Past Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari advocated for additional funding for the Vande Mataram Garden's expansion, emphasizing its inspirational value.
