Harbour Line Megablock Today: Major Disruptions Expected
26 Apr
Summary
- Harbour Line faces megablock today for maintenance.
- No megablock on Main Line, offering commuter relief.
- Special services and alternative travel options available.

The Mumbai Division of Central Railway is implementing a significant megablock on its Harbour Line today, April 26, 2026. This block is scheduled to facilitate critical engineering and maintenance operations between the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and the Chunabhatti/Bandra sections. The disruption will affect both up and down lines, with the block in place from 11:40 am to 4:40 pm on the down line and 11:10 am to 4:10 pm on the up line.
However, commuters travelling on the Main Line between CSMT and Karjat/Kasara will be unaffected, as no megablock is planned for this route. To mitigate the impact on Harbour Line passengers, special train services will operate between Panvel and Kurla every 20 minutes throughout the block period. Additionally, passengers on the Harbour Line are permitted to travel via the Main Line and Western Railway until 6 pm.
