MRF shareholders to get Rs 235 dividend!

MRF has announced a significant dividend payout, proposing a final dividend of Rs 229 per share. This brings the total dividend for FY26 to Rs 235 per share, representing a 2,350% return on the face value of Rs 10. Shareholders must approve this final dividend at the company's Annual General Meeting. The record date for eligibility will be announced later.

The dividend declaration coincided with MRF's Q4FY26 earnings report. The tyre manufacturer posted a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 702 crore for the quarter ending March 2026, a 37% increase from the previous year. Revenue from operations grew by approximately 14% to Rs 8,044 crore. Earnings per share also saw a notable rise to Rs 1,655.80 from Rs 1,203.68.

Despite an increase in total expenses by about 12%, driven by higher raw material costs, MRF improved its profitability. This was achieved through strong revenue growth and enhanced operating performance. EBITDA rose over 21% year-on-year to Rs 1,305 crore, with EBITDA margins improving to 16.2%. The positive financial news led to a more than 2% increase in MRF's share price during intraday trade.
