- The company advocates for government support to change HSE guidance.

Morrisons has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first supermarket to implement The Bog Standard guidelines across all its stores. This move is designed to enhance the shopping experience for customers, particularly men who face challenges related to incontinence and stoma care.
David Scott, Corporate Affairs Director at Morrisons, expressed pride in this achievement, highlighting the importance of listening to customers and collaborating with relevant organizations. He stated that providing appropriate facilities is crucial for customers' confidence and nationwide accessibility.
This initiative extends beyond general support, as Morrisons is actively campaigning for governmental change. They are urging the UK Government to amend HSE guidance, which would ensure men have access to male sanitary bins in public restrooms.
This isn't the first time Morrisons has pioneered customer-focused facilities. In March of this year, they introduced stoma-friendly toilets in all supermarkets. Previously, they launched Sensory Support Boxes in partnership with the National Autistic Society to improve the shopping experience for autistic customers.
