Wadhwa Group has successfully finalized a lease agreement with Morningstar, allowing the global investment research firm to occupy 33,000 square feet of office space at the Vishwaroop IT Park in Vashi, Mumbai. With this latest expansion, Morningstar's cumulative office space within the Vishwaroop IT Park now totals an impressive 4.45 lakh square feet. The IT park itself boasts a substantial built-up area of 6.25 lakh square feet and is currently fully leased, generating approximately Rs 75 crore in annual rental income.
This significant transaction underscores the buoyancy of Mumbai's commercial real estate market. The broader Indian office market has also shown robust performance, with the first quarter of 2026 recording its highest-ever quarterly leasing volume across eight major cities, marking a notable increase from previous peaks.
