The New Jersey Lottery's Jim Carey has stated that the state is particularly fortunate, with several games offering million-dollar prizes, even if the top jackpot is not won. In addition to the Minit Mart's success, a $3 million Mega Millions prize and a $3.8 million Jersey Cash Five jackpot were also awarded to players in Camden and Belmar earlier this year.

Another store, Uno Shopmart in West New York, has also had a run of good luck, selling three winning tickets worth a total of $60,000 in 2025. With the Mega Millions jackpot currently over $625,000, the New Jersey Lottery continues to mint new millionaires, providing plenty of opportunities for players to strike it rich.
