MetaOptics Ltd. reported unaudited consolidated financial results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, revealing a substantial 476% year-on-year revenue increase to S$0.6 million. This performance signifies robust commercial momentum, reaching nearly 79% of its total FY2025 revenue. The company's net loss in this period was influenced by S$1.7 million in one-off IPO-related expenses for a planned Nasdaq dual listing and S$0.5 million in non-cash costs.
Despite these expenses, MetaOptics' underlying net loss was significantly lower. The Group is advancing its growth strategy across metalens equipment, design, IoT products, and AI algorithms. An order backlog for key metalens production equipment provides revenue visibility into 2027. The company is also progressing with partnerships for mass production capacity.
Key growth areas include co-packaged optics (CPO) with high-demand metalens designs, completed 12-megapixel color imaging metalenses for consumer devices, and strong demand for its metalens automatic testers and Direct Laser Writer (DLW) platforms. MetaOptics maintains a healthy financial position with S$5.5 million in cash and cash equivalents as of June 30, 2026.
