Meghmani Organics Profit Plunges 59% in Q4 FY26

Meghmani Organics experienced a notable decrease in net profit during the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2026. The company's net profit for the quarter ended March 2026 was Rs 8.03 crore, marking a 59.49% drop from Rs 19.82 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

Concurrently, sales for the March 2026 quarter declined by 14.30%, amounting to Rs 474.34 crore, down from Rs 553.46 crore in the corresponding quarter of the prior year. This indicates a challenging period for the company's revenue generation in the most recent quarter.

However, looking at the full fiscal year ended March 2026, Meghmani Organics demonstrated a significant improvement. The company reported a net profit of Rs 28.74 crore, a substantial recovery from a net loss of Rs 10.60 crore reported for the year ended March 2025. Full-year sales also saw a modest increase of 4.53%, reaching Rs 2173.96 crore.

The operational performance metrics for the quarter ended March 2026 reflected these trends, with Profitability Margins (OPM) decreasing to 4.16% from 11.83% in the previous year's quarter. Profit Before Depreciation and Tax (PBDT) also fell by 39%, and Profit Before Tax (PBT) saw a 77% reduction.
