Maruti Suzuki has launched a new variant of the WagonR, featuring an optional swivel seat designed to promote inclusive mobility. This significant addition aims to provide greater convenience and independence for senior citizens and individuals with disabilities, embodying the company's ethos of being 'By Your Side'.
The innovative swivel seat is available as a retrofitment kit, which customers can order at Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships. It can be installed in brand-new WagonR models or fitted into existing vehicles, broadening accessibility across a diverse customer base.
This initiative, developed in collaboration with startup TRUEAssist Technology Private Limited, is initially being rolled out to over 200 Arena dealerships across 11 cities. Maruti Suzuki plans to scale up the project based on customer feedback, reinforcing its commitment to technologically advanced and human-centric mobility solutions.
